Signing up for one-to-one English language coaching is simple and straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide to show you exactly how it works, from our first conversation to starting your lessons.

Step 1: Let’s Have a Conversation

The first step is to arrange a conversation. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss your goals, current level, and learning needs. I’ll ask about:

  • Your reasons for learning English.

  • Any specific challenges or skills you want to focus on.

  • Your availability for lessons.

  • Your main objectives for the course.

  • How many hours do you need and how many weeks/months do want that to take.

This conversation helps me understand what you need and allows you to ask any questions about the coaching process.

Step 2: Course Proposal

After our chat, I’ll create a personalised Course Proposal. This document outlines:

  • Your Course Objective: What we aim to achieve together.

  • Costs and Payment Instructions: Clear details about the total cost and how to make payment.

  • Lesson Days and Times: A schedule that works for you.

  • Total Number of Hours: Based on your goals and preferred pace.

  • Start Date: When your lessons will begin.

This proposal ensures everything is transparent and tailored to your needs.

Step 3: Make Payment

Once you’re happy with the Course Proposal, the next step is to make payment. Payment is made upfront, but flexible terms may be available for longer courses. The payment confirms your booking and allows us to move forward.

Step 4: Preparing for Your Lessons

With payment complete, I take care of the rest:

  • Order Materials: I source any textbooks, workbooks, or additional resources we’ll use.

  • Set the Schedule: I lock in your lesson dates and times on my calendar.

  • Create Your Online Classroom: You’ll receive a link to your very own Microsoft Teams online classroom, where all our sessions will take place. It’s easy to use and keeps everything organised in one place.

Step 5: Get Started!

On your start date, we jump right into your personalised lessons. From there, it’s all about making progress toward your goals—with my support every step of the way.  You will be amazed at how quickly you begin to relax and enjoy our lessons.  My clients usually look forward to their lessons with excited anticipation.

Final Thoughts

The process is designed to be smooth and stress-free, so you can focus on what matters: improving your English.
